Terms and conditions agreement of sale

The use of this site is governed by the Terms and Conditions set forth below. Your use of this site indicates your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions operate as a binding agreement between the Service Provider, Software Designers Pty Ltd A.B.N. 97 084 848 144, trading as Media Zone Technologies, also referred to as "MZT", “we”, “us”, and “our” and the customer or organisation or anybody else who accesses, interacts with or purchases from this website, also referred to as "you". It is important that you read and understand these conditions at the time of purchase.


Pricing

All prices shown on this website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST at 10%. A tax invoice will be provided with all goods. Freight is calculated at $25 inc GST per 20KGs freight anywhere in Australia, however we reserve the right to add additional freight in special circumstances such as heavy, extra large items or delivery to remote locations. Because of the nature of the computer business, prices are subject to change without notice.

Placing Orders

When you make an order through this website you are entering a binding commercial agreement between you and MZT. Orders can be cancelled at any time prior to completion of payment. Order completions are based upon a "Payment before dispatch" basis. This means that all orders must be fully paid for before they are processed and shipped. Once payment for an order has been received, it cannot be cancelled. We will endeavor to ensure that all orders are fulfilled. In certain circumstances, some products may become unavailable due to component/part unavailability or obsolescence. In these cases the customer may be provided with an alternative product or if an alternative cannot be found, a full refund may be granted upon request and provided within a reasonable timeframe.
For on-line orders we recommend direct deposit or bank transfer as there are no charges or processing fees. When paying for an order using direct deposit or bank transfer, please include your name and order number as the deposit reference. The order number and bank account details will be provided automatically to you at the end of the ordering process. When paying in person at a bank, the deposit slip needs to be faxed or scanned and E-mailed to us. For internet banking payments, please "cut and paste" the payment details and send them to us by E-mail. The E-mail address for payment confirmation is sales@zonetech.com.au. For secure on-line payments we have provided a Paypal facility. PayPal is an account-based system that allows anyone with an email address to send and receive online payments securely. Payments using Paypal may be subjects to a 2% surcharge.

Delivery/Shipping

MZT use a courier service for the delivery of components. Deliveries will only be made to a verifiable address. We do NOT deliver to PO boxes. We do NOT deliver to third party addresses. The customer assumes responsibility for the receipt of deliveries and must sign for all deliveries. The cost for any re-delivery may be passed to the customer in the event of the delivery address being unattended at the time of the delivery. Whilst an effort is made to ensure the safe delivery of our products, MZT will not be held responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit. The customer accepts all responsibility for the goods once they have been dispatched from our premises.

Refunds and returns

Unless specifically allowed for under our Warranty Terms, set forth below, we will not accept any returns or provide any refunds. All components sold by us have a one-year back to base manufacturer warranty. Goods under warranty will be repaired or replaced by the manufacturer. Under no circumstances will a refund be provided. Parts returned to are sent on your behalf to the distributor for repair or replacement. The warranty does not cover damage by the customer or any consequential damage to other parts including loss of data. Before returning any components for repair or replacement, the customer must first request an RA (Return Authorisation) number. An RA number can be obtained via the contact form provided on this site or by emailing sales@zonetech.com.au. Any items that arrive Dead on Arrival, DOA, are eligible for immediate replacement. DOA items must be reported with 7 Days of acceptance of delivery, failure to do so will result in the DOA claim being rejected. The customer is liable for all costs incurred in returning the goods to MZT including shipping and insurance. MZT will cover the cost of re-delivery. Products that have been discontinued by the manufacturer will be replaced with a similar product or a credit will be provided at the current market or purchase price, whichever is lower. In the event of there being no fault found with the returned item, MZT reserves the right to charge up to $50 to cover costs of delivery and labour. Warranty claims for items that are covered directly by the manufacturer are not handled by MZT. In such cases, the customer must deal directly with the manufacturer.
